Voting to Veterans

Last week we were feeling very patriotic at the Creek! We not only had a beyond wonderful Veteran's Day parade; our class had a very fierce political battle where both candidates were exceptionally qualified and rather spirited.......CIRCLES vs TRIANGLES! I feel that the circles may have had a slight advantage because of their ever so appreciated, and influential cookie donation to the public in favor of their candidate. We had so much fun voting all week long, from deciding between circles and triangles, to snack choices, and even lesson activities! The jammers voiced also joined the school by voicing their opinions on November 6th  in a vote held in our media center. That was very impressive, with voting booths and the whole nine yards!! We have really enjoyed teaching the importance of listening to others and making independent decisions this week! Friday was definitely the highlight with all of our hard work paying off with a lovely performance for our veterans in our 9th annual Veterans Day parade!
